Enables you to set up and maintain groups of standard dates. Standard dates are set up via Maintain Standard Dates.

You can group the dates that you want to allocate to a particular group type or location. For example, you might group together dates affecting holiday entitlement calculations, or Scottish public holidays.

Description

Group Priority

Enter a priority value between 0 and 999 that is applicable to this group. The priority value is used when a standard date exists in more than one group and one date is flagged as included and one date is flagged as excluded. You can flag groups (and the dates they contain) as ‘included’ or ‘excluded’ using Maintain Standard Date Group Types.

When this scenario occurs, the standard date is included or excluded depending on which option has the highest priority. For example, if the date is ‘included’ in Group 1, which has a priority value of 10, but ‘excluded’ in Group 2, which has a priority value of 12,the standard date is excluded.

Display in myView
