Enables you to specify whether the system should regard a pay element as being part of Normal Pay in certain calculations.

General

Description

Display only. A short description of the accumulator flag.

Y/N

Enter Y to specify the accumulator as part of Normal Pay for the pay element.

Note: The Normal Pay Indicator flag ‘Normal Pay for OMP’ is used in conjunction with the ‘On Maternity’ flag. If the ‘Normal Pay for OMP’ flag is set to Y, and the ‘On Maternity’ flag is also set to Y, the system will pay the calculated OMP amount twice. To pay OMP once per pay period, ensure that only one of these flags is set to Y, and the other to N. The ‘On Maternity’ flag is set via Processing Control Flags.

Note: The Normal Pay Indicator flag ‘Normal Pay for Standard Holiday’ must be set to Y to enable holiday entitlements to be calculated for employees who have been terminated.
