This screen enables you to create and maintain grouped check-types.

Group

Group

Enter the ID of the group that you want to maintain, or select one from the drop-down list.

If the group does not exist, a prompt is displayed allowing you to create the new group.

Descriptions

Short Description, Long Description

Enter a short and long description of the check group.

Obsolete Date

Enter a date that the check group becomes obsolete.

Paging Area

Check

Enter the check code, or select one from the drop-down list.

Description

Display only. The description of the selected check type.

Type

Enter a type to assign to the check. Default includes the check by default, Optional allows you to remove the check if not required and Mandatory will always include the check when attached to an employee record.

Value

Select a value from the drop-down list, or enter a value if prompted to do so.

The choices available for the Value field are dependant on the check type selected. There are three types associated with the checks, which are supplied and are not amendable:
