Attainment Matching Report
This report is generated by the attainment matching process. It shows the attainments you specified in the Attainment Matching Maintenance screen, and a list of the people who match these prerequisites.
During attainment matching, ResourceLink makes two passes through the attainment details. The first pass ensures that the selected applicant attainments match the entries in the Group, Subject and Type fields.
The second pass calculates a total score for each individual, for both essential and desirable attainments, from the following:
- If the Grade is matched, the score is included in the total.
- If the Grade is above or below that required, nothing is added to the score.
- If the Minimum Score is matched or exceeded, the score is included in the total.
- If the Minimum Score is not reached, nothing is added to the score.
The total score for both the essential and desirable attainments is compared to the entries in the relative Upper Limit and Lower Limit fields. Where the score matches or exceeds either of the entered limits, the person’s details are included on the report.
Each line on the report shows details of an applicant’s attainments compared against the attainments required by the vacancy.
The following information is shown:
- The vacancy applied for and the applicant’s title, initials and surname.
- The general and specific subject area and the level of the attainment required and achieved, the importance or urgency with which the attainment is required, the attainment grade required and achieved, the attainment score required and the score achieved, the date on which the attainment was or should be achieved.
- The total score required and achieved.
