Maintain Succession Plans
Enables you to set up and maintain succession plans for posts you intend to fill.
General
Short Description
The short code for the succession plan, which you can amend if required.
Long Description
Enter a full description of the succession plan.
Creation Date
This field defaults to today’s date to indicate the start date of the succession plan, which can be amended if required.
Target Date
Enter the date that the employee chosen for succession is due to take over the post.
Close Date
Enter the date from which this succession plan ceases to be effective.
Responsible Person
Enter the name of the officer/manager responsible for administering the succession plan.
Positions Required
Enter the number of positions that are to be catered for by this succession plan.
Associated Dets
Post
Enter the post with which the plan is associated.
Date
Enter the date that the post was attached to the plan.

Click this button to display Simple User-Defined Field Data if user-defined fields have been set up by your system administrator. These are extra fields used to record additional information that are specific to your organisation.
Plan Notes
Click this button to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record for this succession plan.
