SSP/OSP Payment Details
Enables you to view the calculated payment details for every day on which a sickness absence has been recorded, before you generate the payments on the system. The total sickness pay for each day is shown together with the amounts of UK SSP and OSP contained within it, and National Insurance benefit deductions where applicable.
Paging Area
Day
The day on which the sickness occurred.
Date
The date the sickness day occurred.
Days
The number of days on which the employee qualified for UK SSP in the week when the sickness day occurred.
Normal Pay
The daily amount paid to the employee when not sick.
SSP Detail
The amount of UK SSP paid, and the reason for the payment or exclusion from payment. Also, the amount of National Insurance benefit deducted, if the employee has received more than their UK SSP entitlement. The options are set up in the SSPXCL narrative category.
OSP, Percent
The amount of OSP paid, the reason for the payment or exclusion from payment, and the percentage of Normal Pay from the entitlement bands. The options are set up in the OSPXCL narrative category.
Sick Pay
The total sick pay for the day.
Click exit to exit from this window. Generate OSP/SSP Payments is then displayed.
