Pay Code

The type of pay element code specified determines the data that is imported in the payroll interface file. A Normal type pay element imports the values specified in the interface file as an amount value, and a Rated type pay element imports the values specified in the interface file as hours in the format HHMM or HH:MM.
Hold?
Select this check box if the specified interface pay code is a holding type pay code.
When a holding type pay code is imported for an employee in the payroll interface file, the employee is advanced by the number of periods specified in the Value field in the payroll interface file.
