MyView Absence Parameters
Enables you to maintain absence parameters that are used in the MyView Time Management module to control the recording of absences for employees associated with this leave management parameter set.
General Parameters
Does Absence Require a Planned Work Time?
Select this check box if the duration of the associated absence must be recorded on a Planned Work Time (PWT) before the absence can be submitted for processing. This check box is automatically selected and disabled if the Use Employee Work Pattern field in Leave Management Parameters is set to I and the entitlement type is Weekly.
Note: If the above check box is selected and SSP applies to this absence parameter, the SSP qualifying days are derived from the employee's control group for absences with zero hours.
Time Entry Parameters
Only allow 15 Min entries
Select this check box to only permit entries in 15 minute intervals in the Time Management module. This option is not applicable if you enter DAYS in the following field.
Time Entry
Enter a code to specify the time format in which an absence period must be entered in the Time Management module, or select a format from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the TIMENT narrative category.
Days Entry Type
This field is only enabled if you have entered DAYS in the previous field. Enter a code to specify whether whole or partial days can be entered when recording absences in the Time Management module, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the DAYTYP narrative category.
