Load Postcode Address Lookup Details
Enables you to upload country specific ‘quick address’ and validation details from a specified text file. The fields in this text file can either be fixed length or separated by a field delimiter.
Note: Countries which have a known standard format are provided with non-user-definable parameter sets, although you can still define your own parameter sets if required.
When data is being loaded from a text file that does not conform to a known country format, it must be a comma-separated values file, and contain definition and data keywords which are used in the same way as for existing spreadsheet loads. The valid keywords are:
Data Keyword | Description |
<ADDR1> | Address line 1 |
<ADDR2> | Address line 2 |
<ADDR3> | Address line 3 |
<ADDR4> | Address line 4 |
<MUNICIP> | Municipality |
<REGION> | Region |
<POSTCD> | Postcode |
Note: The <POSTCD> keyword must be included with at least one other keyword.
Note: If you upload a text file for a specific country, all existing details are cleared before the upload takes place.
