Maintain Payroll Exception Messages
Enables you to view additional information about a payroll exception message, as well as customise the exception message displayed if required.
The payroll exception messages displayed in the paging area can be filtered by entering search criteria in the following fields. Alternatively, these fields can be left blank to display all payroll exception messages.
To access this window, enter fast path HR01S90.
Selection
Select Message No
Enter the full or partial number of the payroll exception message that you want to view or amend. If you are entering the full number, this must be entered as a four digit number with preceding zeros. For example, if you want message number 6, you should enter 0006 to locate this message. Similarly, if you know the message is in the sixties, you would enter 006 to locate all messages 0060 through 0069.
Select Country
Enter the code of the country for which you want to view payroll exception messages, or select one by clicking window to display Country Selection.
Note: If the Select Country field is left blank, it defaults to the UK. If you want to display all payroll exception messages irrespective of country ID, you can enter ALL.
Inc Obsolete
Enter Y to display all payroll exception messages, including obsolete ones. This field defaults to N which prevents obsolete exception messages being displayed.
Paging Area
Message
Display only. The payroll exception message number.
Country
Display only. The code of the country to which this payroll exception message applies.
Wording
Display only. The default payroll exception message that is displayed, unless an alternate message is entered.
Suppress
Enter D to suppress the exception message from being displayed, R to suppress the exception message from being included in the report, or B to suppress the exception message from being displayed or included in the report.
PD
Select this check box to prevent the exception message from being displayed in the Payroll Dashboard.
Notes
Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.
