Weeks Multiplier

Enter the factor by which you want to increase the statutory weeks payable. For example, if you want to only pay the statutory minimum, enter 1. If you want to pay three times the statutory number of weeks, enter 3.

Minimum Weeks

Enter the minimum number of weeks payable under your organisation’s redundancy scheme.

Maximum Weeks

Enter the maximum number of weeks payable under your organisation’s redundancy scheme.

Min Lieu Weeks

Enter the minimum number of weeks payable under your organisation’s redundancy scheme in lieu of notice – that is, when employees leave before the end of the standard notice period.

Max Lieu Weeks

Enter the maximum number of weeks payable under your organisation’s redundancy scheme in lieu of notice – that is, when employees leave before the end of the standard notice period.

Max Non-Taxed Red Pay

Enter the maximum non-taxable amount an employee can receive under your organisation’s redundancy scheme. For example, if you enter 3000, the first £3000 of the redundancy payment is granted tax free, and any remaining amount is taxed.

EX Tax PE Code

Enter the ID of the pay element against which non-taxable redundancy payments are recorded.

Taxed PE Code

Enter the ID of the pay element against which taxable redundancy payments are recorded.

Lieu PE Code

Enter the ID of the pay element against which redundancy payments in lieu of notice are recorded.

Youngest Table Age

Enter the youngest age for which redundancy pay is granted. Redundancy pay is not calculated for any employees whose redundancy age is younger than the age specified in this field.

Oldest Table Age

Enter the oldest age for which redundancy pay is granted. Redundancy pay is not calculated for any employees whose redundancy age is older than the age specified in this field.

Retirement Age

Enter the standard retirement age in your organisation.
