Enables you to enter details of teachers pay enhancements. These are used when calculating the Enhanced Hourly Rate for overtime payments.

General

Post, Grade, Pt, From, To, Basic Amt, Rate

Display only. These fields show:

• The number and description of the post to which these enhancements relate.
• The grade to which these enhancements relate.
• The spinal point.
• The post start and end dates.
• The basic pay and hourly rate for this grade and spinal point.

Code

Enter the pay element code for the enhancement, or select one by clicking window to display Pay Element Selection.

Note: You can only include pay elements that have been included in the TCHPAY pay element category.

Note: Pay elements that are included in the TARTLR pay element category must also be included in the TCHPAY pay element category. In addition, you can only include one pay element that belongs to the TARTLR pay element category.

Desc

Display only. The description of the selected pay element code.

A (Authorisation Details)

Display only. Displays Y to indicate that the pay element changes require acceptance, or displays A to indicate that pay element changes require authorisation and possibly acceptance.

Click WINDOW to display Authorisation and Acceptance Details where you can view authorisation and acceptance status details.

D (Element Detail)

Click WINDOW to display N Type Pay Element Detail, where you can enter the details of the pay element.

Period Amt

Display only. The employee’s weekly or monthly salary as defined against the pay element.

Annual Amt

Display only. The employee’s annual salary as defined against the pay element.

I (Include in Enhanced Rate Calculations)

Enter Y if this pay element is to be included in enhanced rate pay calculations.

Enhancements

Display only. The total of the pay elements flagged for inclusion in enhanced rate pay calculations; that is, the employee’s total annual enhancements pay.

Enh. Amt

Display only. The employee's total annual pay, including any enhancements.

Rate

Display only. The employee's total hourly rate of pay, including any enhancements.
