Enables you to maintain details of the employee’s current position status and view any past position statuses. The position status indicates the employment basis, such as full-time, full-time management, part-time, temporary.

The lower section of the window is a paging list showing the history of position statuses that have been linked to the employee. Each position status in the list has a start date. This is the date when it becomes effective. You can thus set up position statuses to become effective on a future date if required.

Note: If you enter a new position status, you must make sure an end date is entered for the existing position status so they do not overlap.

To access this window, enter fast path HREMPALL and select the employee, then select Post Holding History from the navigation panel. Window in to the Detail field and select the Conditions tab, then window in to the Position Status field.

Post

Display only. The employee’s post.

From

Display only. The date on which the employee started in the selected post.

To

Display only. The date on which the employee finished in the selected post.

Paging Area

Start Date

Enter the date on which the new position status is due to commence.

End Date

Enter the date on which the new position status is due to finish or leave blank if this is open-ended.

Position Status

Enter a position status or select one from the drop down list. The options are set up in the POSTPS narrative category.

Description

Display only. The description of the selected position status.

Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.
