Enables you to set print format parameters and file extracts for payslips.

Note: File extracts are copied to the current working directory on your ResourceLink server.

To access this window enter fast path HR19S25, select the Parameter Set and window in to the Format Control field.

General

Payslip Type

Enter F to generate file extracts containing payslip data when the parameter set is applied to a payslip print option.

Payslip Format

Enter the letter that corresponds to the required pre-printed stationery type for payslips, for example, enter A to set Standard A Economailer.

Enter Y in the second field if the payslip form is to be printed.

Enter Y in the third field if the generic Africa version payslip should be used instead of the South Africa specific version.

Payslip Pages

Enter the maximum number of continuation pages that can be printed or enter 1 (or leave blank) if no continuation pages are required.

Zero Suppress

Enter Y to suppress payslips with values of zero for gross pay, total deductions and net pay.

Post-Driven

Enter Y to display pay element amounts separately for each post on the payslip, or leave blank if combined pay element amounts should be shown for multiple post holdings.

Single National Insurance

This field is only displayed if the Post Driven field is set to Y. Enter Y to enable National Insurance to be shown as a single figure rather than separately by post.

Single Pension

This field is only displayed if the Post Driven field is set to Y. Enter Y to enable the pension to be shown as a single figure rather than separately by post.

Use Form Feeds

Enter Y to specify that a new page should be used for each payslip, or leave blank if there should just be a blank line between subsequent payslips.

Print National Insurance Rebate

Enter Y to exclude the National Insurance rebate from the National Insurance deduction, in which case, the National Insurance rebate is printed on a separate line.

Suppress Bank Details

Enter Y to prevent bank details being printed on the payslip, or leave blank to print bank details.

Use Contact Address

Enter 1 or 2 to specify the contact address to which the payslip should be sent, or leave blank to send the payslip to the home address.

LPT Remaining Balance

This field is only displayed for Irish legislation types. Enter Y to display the remaining annual Local Property Tax (LPT) balance on the payslip, or leave blank to display the accumulating year-to-date LPT balance.

Click this button to display YTD Pension Details, where you can configure which pension details are displayed on the payslip.
