Qualifying Week

The QW is a specific week that occurs a certain number of weeks before the EWC. Enter this number in this field.

Earliest PLPP Start Week

Enter the earliest week before the due/placement date that SPP/ShPP leave can start.

Latest PLPP Start Week

Enter the latest week after the due/placement date that SPP/ShPP leave can start.

Note: Great Britain (England, Scotland, and Wales) paternity leave with a due date on or after the 7th April 2024, or placement date on or after the 6th April 2024, uses the Latest PLPP Start Week. However, for Northern Ireland, the Latest PLPP Start Week parameter is set to eight weeks and is not displayed.

Enter minimum service weeks for SPP/ShPP.

Number of Weeks in PLPP

Enter the number of weeks that define a Parental Leave Pay Period. The PLPP is the time for which remuneration is applicable.

Rate Amount

Enter the standard weekly amount of SPP/ShPP.

Rate Percentage

Enter the percentage of Average Pay for SPP/ShPP.

Lower Earnings Limit

Enter the lower earnings limit for SPP/ShPP eligibility.

Reclaim Percentage

Enter the percentage reclaim rate for SPP/ShPP.

Maximum SPLIT Days

Enter the maximum number of Shared Parental Leave In Touch (SPLIT) days that are permissible for ShPP.
