Additional Pension

Enter the amount of additional pension the transfer has provided.

Additional Service

Enter any service granted in lieu of the transfer value. The entry must be in the service format set for the scheme receiving the transfer.

Additional Lump Sum

Enter any lump sum that the transfer has provided.

Accrual Rates

Accrual rates are used to calculate pension benefits for the additional service, if different to the scheme basis. For example, if the accrual rate is one-sixtieths, enter 60, or if a percentage, enter 0.6 (= 60%). If it is one-fortieths, enter 40, or if a percentage, enter 0.4 (= 40%).

Leave this field empty to use the default accrual rate set up against the pension scheme into which the member is transferring.

Spouse’s Pension

Enter the value of the spouse’s transfer-in pension, if applicable.

Qualifying Service

Enter any qualifying service granted from the transfer. The entry must be in the format of the scheme.

Dependants Pension

Enter the value of any dependant’s transfer-in pension, if applicable.

Transfer Schemes FPS

Enter the value of the final pensionable salary (FPS) applicable to the transfer in service, if applicable.

Contract Hours

Enter the contracted hours worked by the member at the previous organisation. Pension benefit calculations are based on full-time hours. Consequently the pension transfer value may need to be adjusted if the member worked less than the full-time hours.

FTE Hours

If the member worked less than the full-time hours in their previous employment, enter the full-time equivalent hours.
