Enables you to maintain AVC details for a selected member. It also provides access to details on AVC contributions, statements and fund history.

The upper part of the screen is display only. It gives the description, AVC scheme type, dates and pension scheme to which the AVC is linked.

Use the lower part of the screen to record further details about the AVC scheme.

General

AVC Reference

Enter the AVC reference as supplied by the provider of the scheme. This reference is to help identify the AVC member details. It can be in any format.

Death Benefit Only?

The AVC scheme may be set up to provide either death benefit or a pension benefit on the retirement of the member.

If the benefit of the AVC is limited to death benefit only, enter Y. If the AVC scheme provides other pension benefits, enter N. The default is N.

Contribution History

Display only. The value of the member’s current AVC contributions and the date when payments started. Click Window to display the AVC Contribution History window which shows a history of the member’s planned contributions to the AVC scheme.

Statement History

Click WINDOW to display AVC Statement History. Enter details of each statement issued by the scheme provider, who supplies the information you need.

Fund History

If fund history information is available, Y is displayed in this field. Click Window to display AVC Value of Contributions which shows the actual deductions made from payroll as distinct from the planned contributions shown in AVC Contributions History.

User Fields

Click WINDOW to display Simple User-Defined Field Data if user-defined fields have been set up by your system administrator. These are extra fields used to record additional information that are specific to your organisation.

Notes

Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.
