Maintain CA Forms Detail
Enables you to enter the relevant information required to complete the CA form.
The upper part of the screen displays the membership period start and end dates. If no end date is shown, the membership period is open and the scheme still has a liability to the member. Only those fields relevant to the form being created need to be completed.
Form Detail
Date Comm. C/O Emp
Enter the date that the member contracted out of SERPS for the selected period.
Date Term. C/O Emp
Enter the date that the member’s period of contracted out employment finished.
EES Earns. Tax Year
Enter the member’s gross earnings for the final contracted out year.
EES Earns. Previous
Enter the member’s gross earnings for the penultimate contracted out year.
Start Date New C/O Emp
Enter the date that the member’s new period of contracted out employment commences.
National Insurance Number
Display only. The member’s National Insurance number is shown in this field.
C.E.P.
Enter the member’s CEP amount.
Spouse’s GMP Indicat
Either enter 1 if the member’s spouse is deceased, or leave blank.
Pension Scheme
Enter the ID of the pension scheme to which these details relate, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Pension Scheme Selection.
SCON
Display only. The Scheme Contracted Out Number (SCON) for the pension scheme entered in the previous field.
Company ID
Enter the ID for the company which employs the member if the company details differ from the Scheme details (ECON address), or select one by clicking window to display Select Company ID.
ECON
Display only. The Employer’s Contracted Out Number (ECON) for the Scheme or Company for the member, as appropriate.
Transfer To ECON
When the member belongs to an employer’s pension scheme, enter the ECON that details are to be transferred to.
Transfer To SCON
Enter the SCON that details are to be transferred to.
Transfer To ACON
Enter the Appropriate Contracted Out Number (ACON) that details are to be transferred to if the member has a personal pension scheme.
Additional Detail

Premium To
Enter 1 if the details entered are for a transferring out scheme, or enter 2 if the details entered are for a receiving scheme.
Although there are several different CA forms, their layouts all follow a similar format. Along with each actual form, a covering letter is produced that contains details such as legal declarations, signatures and contact details. The text and layout of all CA forms is held on file within the Pensions module.
