Enables you to select a financial institution branch to maintain using its sort code or Business Identification Code (BIC), or to set up new branch details.

General

Sort Code

Enter the sort code of the branch you want to maintain, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Financial Institution Look-up.

Note: If you enter a duplicate sort code, that is a sort code number that exists for more than one country, Duplicate Financial Institution Look-up is displayed to enable you to select the correct instance of the sort code.

If the sort code does not exist, a prompt is displayed allowing you to create the new sort code.

BIC

Enter the BIC of the branch you want to maintain, or select one by clicking the drop-down menu.

Name

Display only. The name of the bank associated with the selected sort code.

Branch

The name of the branch associated with the selected sort code. You can amend this if required.

Bank Country ID

The country code applicable to the selected financial institution. If you are setting up new branch details, you can enter a country code or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Narrative Category Search.
