Enter the sender’s email address to be used throughout MyView, this can be anything, for example, portal@resourcelink.com. Any emails sent from MyView are then sent from this address.
Email Address Format
Enter the format of the recipient’s email address that is used when emails are sent from MyView. You can use the following variables:
- %D - the recipient’s display name.
- <%A> - the recipient’s email address.
The default setting of this field is %D<%A> which generates a recipient’s email address in the format: Display Name<email address>, for example, John Smith<jsmith@company.com>.
Some implementations cannot process this format, in which case it is recommended that you use <%A> which just uses the email address.
Login Help URL
Enter the URL to specify the location of the web page that contains help prior to an employee logging in to MyView.
Logged in Help URL
Enter the URL to specify the location of the web page that contains help once the employee has logged in to MyView.
Override Locale
Enter the code of the country (for example, GB or US) that should be used to determine the date format used in MyView. The country entered here overrides the user's web browser locale settings to ensure the correct date format is used.
Caching
Cache the Supported Locales
Select this check box to utilise the supported locales cache, which holds the list of supported locales required during the login process. When the supported locales cache is in use, the list of supported locales is loaded once and any modules specific to a supported locale are initiated upon login.
When this check box is selected, a dialog box is displayed when you EXIT from Web Framework asking if you want to clear the locales cache. Click YES to clear the supported locales cache, which removes the list of supported locales from memory and then reloads the list to pick up any changes that have been made to the supported locales.
Cache the System Parameters
Select this check box to utilise the system parameters cache, which holds all the system parameters used by MyView. When the system parameters cache is in use, system parameter settings are only loaded once and stored in memory. This improves performance because a setting can be retrieved without having to reload the system parameter.
When this check box is selected, a dialog box is displayed when you EXIT from from Web Framework asking if you want to clear the system parameters cache. Click YES to clear the system parameters cache, which removes all the system parameter settings from memory.
