Multi-Factor Authentication Configuration
Enables you to configure multi-factor authentication (MFA) for users to log in to MyView.
To access this window, enter fast path HR97S8 and select User Control > Web Applications > MyView > Security > MFA Configuration.
Parameters
Enable Multi-factor Authentication
Select this check box to enable MFA within MyView.
Allow Disable MFA at User Level
Select this check box if you want MyView users to have the option to disable MFA as part of their login process.
Disable MFA for Intranet Users
Select this check box if you want to disable MFA for those MyView users that are accessing the system via the internal network (based on IP identification). This option must be used in conjunction with MyView Intranet Security.
Configuration
Registration Instructions
Indicates if additional instructions have been configured for users when registering their device for MFA. Click window to access Maintain Web Notes and enter registration instructions.
The following text is included by default:
As part of our enhanced security you can now choose to sign in using our new authentication system<br/> You will need to download an Authenticator App to your mobile device<br/> On clicking Next a security sensitive QR code is displayed
Note: The <br/> element represents a line break.
Registration Link Label
Enter the description to be used in the MFA registration process to direct users to more detailed instructions.
Registration URL Link
Enter the URL to be used in the MFA registration process to direct users to more detailed instructions. If no URL is defined, then the label is not displayed in the registration process. Both the label and URL link are multi-lingual capable.
Mandatory Registration of MFA
Select this check box to make MFA registration mandatory. If this check box is selected, users will be unable to log in to MyView without registering and logging in with an MFA-registered device.
Disable Mand Reg for Intranet users
If required, select this check box to disable mandatory MFA registration for intranet users.
Lost Device Label
Enter the description to be used on the login page as a link for users who have lost their MFA-registered device. When the user clicks on the label, the instructions are displayed.
Lost Device Instructions
Indicates if additional instructions have been configured for users who have lost their MFA-registered device. Click window to access Maintain Web Notes and enter instructions for those users, such as whom to contact and what information to provide.
