Enables you to specify which widgets are available on the MyView dashboard for employees and managers linked to this security profile, and configure the default layout.
To access this window, enter fast path HRPROFILE then select MyView > Dashboard > Widgets.
Paging Area
Widget
Enter the name of the widget that you want to include on the dashboard for this security profile, or select one from the drop-down list. Click
here to view a list of the available widgets.
- Authorisations - displays pending authorisations by type. You can click a pending authorisation to view further details. You can authorise and reject authorisations directly from this widget if configured by your system administrator.
- Birthdays - displays direct reports who have birthdays coming up. You can configure the number of reporting levels to show; the default is 1 (direct reports only) and configure how many days in advance birthdays are shown; the default value can be configured by your system administrator using the system parameter PORTAL > DASHBOARD > TB_DAYS or by using the security profile widget definition.
- Cases - displays all open and closed cases that are applicable to yourself. You can configure how many days' worth of closed cases are shown. You can create new cases and can click on an existing case to view further details; if the case is open, you can also update the case details.
- E-Learning - displays links to the employee's required e-Learning courses and a list of completed courses. You can click a link to display the e-Learning course and can hover over a completed course for the result.
- In Progress - displays in-progress forms by type, for example, a saved training request. You can click an in-progress form to redisplay the form for completion.
- Leave Balance - displays total holiday entitlement (split between available and taken) and any submitted requests pending authorisation in the Holidays module. You can also request holiday from this widget.
- Leave Management Balance - displays total leave entitlement (split between available and taken) in the Time Management module. You can also request leave from this widget.
- Pay Documents - displays links to the last three payslips, expense slips, P11Ds and P60s if they exist. You can click a link to display the selected pay document in full. Unread pay documents are visually identified to make it clear which documents need viewing.
- Reporting Services - displays a dashboard report. You can have multiple instances of this widget to allow multiple dashboard reports to be displayed on your dashboard.
- Team Absence - displays the number of direct reports who are absent by absence type. You can configure the number of reporting levels to show; the default is 1 (direct reports only). You can click an absence type that has absentees to view the planner for further details.
- Time Clocking - displays the time and attendance clocking widget. This allows employees to clock in or clock out based on the current system date and time. It will also show the current clocking state for employees (In or Out with the date and time they last clocked).
Col
Enter the number of the column in which you want this widget to appear. You can enter column numbers 1 to 3, and you can duplicate them if you want more than one widget in a column.
Order
This field is only enabled if the Col field is populated. Enter the sequence number of this widget to determine the order in which the widgets are displayed within a column. Sequence numbers must be unique within a column.
Collapse
Enter Y to specify that this widget should be collapsed by default or N if it should be displayed in full.
Parameters
This field is only enabled for the Leave Management Balance and Reporting Services widgets. Click window to display Maintain Widget Parameters, where you can specify parameter values for this widget.
Force
Enter Y to force this widget onto employees' dashboards (in the defined column and order) next time they log in. If an employee subsequently chooses to close the widget, that action will override this flag.
Clear Override
Enter Y to force an existing widget back onto employees' dashboards, if they have previously closed the widget. The next time employees log in, the widget will be visible on their dashboard. If they subsequently choose to close the widget again, that action will be honoured.
