Enables you to define parameters relating to authorisation through MyView Dashboard.

To access this screen, enter fast path HR97S8. The System Control Maintenance screen (MD97S8) is displayed. Then select User Control > Web Applications > MyView > Authorisation.

Dashboard Authorisation

By default, this check box is selected and indicates that the new Authorisation module should be used in MyView Dashboard.

Deselect the check box to use the old MyView1 Authorisation module. This should only be required if you have bespoke software inMyView1 that you want to continue using or have a mixture of employees and managers who log in via MyView1 and MyView Dashboard. Once deselected, the other parameters in this screen will then be disabled.

Days to Timeout

Users can be alerted to events that are nearing time out by a clock indicator being displayed next to the item. Enter the number of days before an authorisation times out. The default is 3; it cannot be set to more than 10.

Allow Bulk Authorising

Select this check box to enable pending authorisations to be authorised and rejected directly from the Authorisation module and to enable authorisers to authorise all or reject all records on the current page in a single action.

Selecting this check box allows the Bulk Authorise with Warnings parameter to be set.

Bulk Authorise with Warnings

Select this check box to enable authorisation even when the form has warnings. This check box can only be selected if the Allow Bulk Authorising check box is selected.
