MyView Security Email Configuration
Enables you to configure settings related to MyView security emails.
To access this window, enter fast path HR97S8 and select User Control > Web Applications > MyView > Security > Email.
Email Parameters
Forgotten Password Email Template
ⓘ You must configure the email template in Email Message Templates before you can select it in this field.
Select the email template from the drop-down list that you want to send to the employee when they select the Forgotten password button in MyView.
Forgotten Password Email Sensitivity
Enter the sensitivity level that should be applied to the forgotten password email when it is sent, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the EMLSEN narrative category. The default is Normal sensitivity, but this can be changed to make emails more secure. Sensitivity levels are only observed if you are using Microsoft Outlook®.
Forgotten Answers Email Template
ⓘ You must configure the email template in Email Message Templates before you can select it in this field.
Select the email template from the drop-down list that you want to send to the employee when they request a reset of security question answers.
Generated Link Expiry (min)
ⓘ We recommend setting this to 10 minutes.
Enter the number of minutes after which the generated login uniform resource locator (URL) for the password or security answer reset will expire. The default value is 5.
Account Locked Email Template
Select the email from the drop-down list that you want to send to the employee when their account has been locked due to excessive password resets.
Account Suspended Email Template
This field is only relevant if you are using MyView Dashboard.
Select the email from the drop-down list that you want to send to the employee when their account has been suspended because they exceeded the maximum number of invalid login attempts specified in the Number Of Invalid Logon Attempts field in MyView Security.
Password Expired Email Template
This field is only relevant if you are using MyView Dashboard.
Select the email from the drop-down list that you want to send to the employee when their password has expired, as defined in the Temporary PIN Expiry (min) field in MyView Password Configuration.
Welcome Email Template
Select the email from the drop-down list that you want to send to the employee to welcome them when they log in for the first time.
System Administrator Email Address
This field is only relevant if you are using MyView Dashboard.
Enter the email address of your system administrator. Emails are sent to this address when an employee (who does not have their own email address) has been locked out or suspended from their account to enable the system administrator to reset their account.
