Reporting Services Role Codes
Enables you to assign one or more Reporting Services roles to this security profile to control access within Reporting Services.

Enter the ID of the role you want to assign to this security profile, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the WEBREP narrative category.
The following roles are available:
- Admin - allows full admin access within the Reporting Services application, which allows users to maintain the reports folder structure. This role can only be utilised if you are a direct customer.
- Employee - allows employees to view reports in MyView based on their own data.
- Manager - allows managers to view reports in MyView based on their team's data. If you want a manager to be able to view their own data as well, they must also have the Employee role assigned to their security profile.
- Operator - allows operators to view reports in the Web View module. The data they can view is determined by their normal security profile settings.
- User - allows users (typically managers and operators) to create reports by copying and amending existing reports.
Note: Admin and User roles can be performed via MyView or the Web View module depending on the user's normal access. For example, if they are an Operator, their access would be through the Web View module, and if they are an Employee or Manager, their access would be through MyView.
