Enables you to perform a simplified file transfer between your local PC and server (and vice-versa) within the WebView module.

To access this screen, enter fast path HR99S12.

Transfer File

From Client to Server

Select this option if you want to transfer a file from your local PC to the server. The file is transferred to the directory specified in the Server Path field, which you can change if required using the SERVER PATH button.

From Server to Client

Select this option if you want to transfer a file from the server to your local PC.

Transfer Options

Server Path

Display only. The full path of the currently selected directory on the server. This field updates when using the Server to Client option to display the server path of the directory from which you selected the file to transfer

Transfer As Text

This check box is only applicable when using the Server to Client option. Select this check box to convert the file stored on the server to a text file (in ASCII format) and then transfer this text file to your PC.

Note: This conversion process permanently alters the server file; if you use this option with a binary file, such as a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet, the file will be corrupted.

Buttons

Transfer

Click this button to display either a file upload window or Select Server File (depending on the transfer option selected above) where you can browse for the required file and perform the transfer. If you are transferring a file from the server to your PC, you are prompted to open or save the file as required.

Server Path

Click this button to display Select Server Path, where you can select a new destination directory for the Client to Server transfer (which can either be the data directory or a sub-directory for security reasons).
