Enables you to derive the report data specified by a parameter set in a file that can then be interrogated by your reporting tool.

There are two versions of this option:

• Derive Fields by Employee List. This option lets you choose an individual employee, one or more structure units, or a previously saved list of employees, for whom to derive report data.
• Derive Fields for ALL Employees. This option derives report data for all the employees on your database.

General

Parameter ID

Enter or select a derived fields parameter set (previously created via the Derived Fields Parameter Maintenance option).

Effective Date

Date for which data is to be extracted. The default is the current date.

Cleardown File

Enter Y if you want to clear all the data currently held in the file in which the derived field data is created.
