General MyView Parameters
This screen enables you to administer employee passwords and security profiles for use in MyView.
To access this screen, enter fast path HR55S60 and select the employee.
Access Details
Password
Display only. Indicates the status of the employee's password.
Last Changed
Display only. When you first enter the screen, this field shows the date when the password was last changed. This is automatically updated to today’s date when you create a new password.
Enable Multi-factor Authentication
This field is only displayed if MFA is in use in your MyView system. This check box will be selected if the employee has configured MFA for access to MyView. If deselected, this will remove MFA from the employee. This can allow an employee who has lost their device to log into MyView.
Note: If MFA is set as mandatory in your system, the employee will be prompted to re-register once MFA has been disabled for them.
Mandatory MFA Override
This field is only displayed if MFA is in use in your MyView system and is set to Mandatory. Select this check box to allow the employee to bypass the MFA verification and registration systems for access to MyView.
Security Profiles
Internet Profile
Enter the ID of the security profile that you want to attach to the employee to determine access to MyView via the Internet, or select one by clicking window to display Personal Security Profile.
Note: If you want to attach the same security profile to the employee as is already shown in this field but with a different source, you must window in this field and enter the required security profile via Personal Security Profile to update the source to Personal.
Source
Display only. The source of the employee's Internet security profile.
Intranet Profile
Enter the ID of the security profile that you want to attach to the employee to determine access to MyView via the Intranet, or select one by clicking window to display Personal Security Profile.
Note: If you want to attach the same security profile to the employee as is already shown in this field but with a different source, you must window in this field and enter the required security profile via Personal Security Profile to update the source to Personal.
Source
Display only. The source of the employee's Intranet security profile.
Onboarding Profile
Enter the ID of the security profile that you want to attach to the employee to determine access to MyView as an Onboarder, or select one by clicking window to display Personal Security Profile.
Note: This must be a profile that has been set to be available for Onboarding.
Source
Display only. The source of the employee's Onboarding security profile.
Directory Photo
Display Photo
Select this check box to indicate that the employee’s photo should be displayed in the Employee Directory.
Buttons
Allocate Password / Reset Password
Click this button to display New Password where you can enter a new password for the employee to either allocate a new password or reset their password as appropriate.
Note: If an employee's password is suspended, you must un-suspend it before you reset it.
Clear Password
Click this button to delete the employee's password.
Suspend Pword / Unsuspend Pword
Click this button to suspend an employee’s password or un-suspend it depending on the Password status indicated above. An employee's password is also suspended automatically after the maximum number of login attempts specified in the Number Of Invalid Logon Attempts field in ResourceLink Portal Security has been exceeded.
Note: The employee can also un-suspend their own password in MyView via the 'Forgotten Password' option.
Lock Password
Click this button to lock an employee’s password. An employee’s password is also locked automatically after the number of resets specified in the Maximum Resets field in ResourceLink Password Properties has been exceeded. The employee’s password can only be unlocked by a supervisor within this screen for security.
