Review Logged-On Operators
Enables you to view details of operators who are currently logged onto the system, as well as details about the tasks and screens they have been using.
Paging Area
Operator
Display only. The ID of the operator currently logged on to the system.
Session
Display only. The number used to identify the session, which is automatically generated by the system.
Port No
Display only. The port number being used by the operator to connect.
Logon Date, Logon Time
Display only. The last date and time the operator logged onto the system.
Status
Displays one of the following statuses:
- A indicates the operator is logged on to the system via the old, now deprecated, GUI client and their session is active.
- N indicates the operator is logged on to the system via the old, now deprecated, GUI client and their session is inactive.
- B indicates that the operator has been logged on to perform a batch operation that they have previously scheduled via the Offline Scheduler.
- W indicates the parent WebView session for an operator.
- P indicates that an additional session or task within WebView has been launched and is active.
E.g. an operator logged into WebView with 2 tasks open will appear three times in the paging area; Once with a W status and twice with a P status.
You can delete an operator’s session by entering D (flagged for deletion) in the Status field. Operator sessions should only be deleted if they get into extreme difficulty, for example, if their screen locks or blanks out and they are unable to continue processing.
Note: Parent WebView sessions cannot be removed using the Status D. You can, however, delete the sessions for the tasks that the operator is running.
Note: Prior to deleting a session with a batch process, you must first try to reconnect using the original Operator's logon details and resume the session. Deleting a session with a batch process should be the last resort as all changes up to the batch restart position will have been committed to the database. Therefore, you must be certain that the batch process cannot be re-run and that changes that have already been committed are not duplicated.
