Enables you to enter additional information about the selected diary event or flag it for deletion if required.

General

Event Text

The description of the code selected in the Event Code field is displayed. You can override this or append additional text.

Action Date

You can enter the date when the event actually took place if it is different from the diary date.

Status

Enter or select the status of the diary event from the drop-down list. The diary status codes available for selection are set up in the DIARYS narrative category.

Operator Name

Display only. Name of the person who entered the diary event – that is, the operator who is or was logged on.

Private

Enter Y in this field if you want the information held in the Event Text or Notes fields to be displayed to other operators. If another operator tries to look at your diary, ** Private Entry ** is displayed against the Event Text field and access is denied to the Notes field.

Delete

Enter Y to flag the selected event for deletion (via the Diary Batch Deletion screen).

Delete Date

Date for deletion via the Diary Batch Deletion facility. ResourceLink calculates the default date by adding on the number of days entered in the Delete Date Delay field (in the Diary Profile screen) to the diary event date.

Associated Task

Enter the task ID that you want to associate with the diary event or select one by clicking window to display Select Task.

You can only use this button if the selected diary entry was automatically generated by a system event. Click this button to display a window where you can view details of the event that generated the diary entry. The details shown vary according to the type of event.
