Enables you to define a restricted list of grades for a job or post and specify the period during which the grade applies. The restricted list of grades is then available for selection against the post in all MyView processes (MyTeam and SLC).

The restricted grade list used in a process is derived as follows: the list defined against the post is used if it exists; else the list defined against the job is used. If a list of grades has not been defined for either the job or post, then all grades are displayed for selection.

Note: The restricted list of grades only affects MyView processes; all grades are displayed for selection in other areas of the system, for example, in Maintain Post Details.

Note: You can further restrict the grade list for MyTeam processes based on the employee's current post holding by defining parameters in MyTeam Grade Parameters.

To access this window, enter fast path HRJOB and select Grade Dependencies from the navigation panel.

Enter the code of the grade that applies to this job or post, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Grade Selection.

Start Date

Enter the date from which this grade applies to the selected job or post.

End Date

Enter the date from which this grade no longer applies to the selected job or post.
