Default Attainment Detail
Enables you to enter further details about the default attainment if accessed from Default Attainments, or enables you to only view the attainment details if accessed from Attainment Transfers.
General
Group, Subject, Type
Display only. The codes and long descriptions of the selected group, subject and type.
Grade
Enter the code of the appropriate grade or level of ability required, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Dependency Selection. The grades listed are only those associated with the type. For example, if the type is ‘audio’ the grades available might be 40WPM, 50WPM, 60WPM, however if the type is ‘degree’ the grades may be 1st, 2nd, honours.
Score
Display only. The value of the attainment to your organisation, which is derived from a combination of the type and the grade. For example, a GCSE English grade A would probably have a higher score than GCSE English grade D.
The employee’s overall score can be used to measure the value of their attainments against other employees on the system.
Weighting Value
Enter a number to identify the significance of the required attainment. The higher the number, the more important the attainment. This weighting value can then be used within succession planning, etc. to match employee attainments with those required by the scheme.
Priority
Enter a priority code to indicate how important the requirement is e.g. high, low, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the ATTPRY narrative category.
Essential
Enter Y to indicate that it is essential for employees to have this particular qualification or skill, or enter N.
Target Timescale
Enter the number of months in which the required attainment should be achieved.
Review Timescale
Enter the number of months after which the level of attainment achieved should be reviewed.
