Enables you to send a standard email message relating to the currently selected employee, member, applicant, candidate, or tutor. If required, you can attach a standard letter to the email. Standard email messages are based on Email Message Templates.
Note: To run the Email option, Microsoft® Outlook® or Outlook Express must be installed on your PC.
You must COMMIT from the task you are in once you have completed the fields in this window to send the email. The email goes to the Outbox to be sent.
Message ID
Enter or select the email message template for the email.
Attachment
Letter Code/Version
Enter the ID and version of the standard letter you want to attach to this email and version number, or select the letter from the drop-down list.
Recipients
To/CC/BCC
Enter or select the email addresses of the email recipients. The addresses available for selection are set up in Personal Detail and Operator Detail.
The To field is mandatory. Enter or select the email address of the main recipient.
In the subsequent fields, click the unnamed button on the left to toggle between To (main recipient), CC (copy recipient) or BCC (blind copy recipient, not revealed to other recipients).

Display only. These fields display the email subject and text, taken from the selected email message template.
