Maintain Dependency Relationships
Enables you to specify and maintain the relationships between narrative categories. Your entries in this screen determine the sequence of windows displayed when you use Maintain Dependencies.
You can define a narrative category as being a parent or a child, or both. You can group narrative codes of child narrative categories beneath parent categories.
To use the option, first select the dependency module for which you want to set up or maintain relationships. Then, in the paging area, you can set up dependency relationships by linking parents to children.
Where necessary, you can enter the same narrative category more than once in the paging area.
You need to do this where:
- A category is the parent to more than one child.
- A category is both a parent and a child.
