Maintain Pay Element Categories
The Maintain Pay Element Category Contents screen enables you to create or maintain pay element categories and their lists of related pay elements. A pay element category contains a number of related pay elements grouped together. For example, you could group together pay elements related to allowances.
Once you have categorised pay elements, you can group the similar categories into a pay element category group.
To access this screen, enter fast path HR65S1.
Selection
Category
Enter the ID of the pay element category for which you want to maintain pay elements, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Select Pay Element Category.
If the pay element category does not exist, a prompt is displayed allowing you to create the new category.
General
Long Description
Enter the full description of the pay element category.
Short Description
Enter the short description of the pay element category.
Paging Area
PE Code
Enter the code of the pay element you wish to include in the date-effective pay element category, or select one by clicking window to display Pay Element Selection.
Description
Display only. The description of the selected pay element.
