Enables you to create or maintain pay element category groups and their lists of related pay element categories. A pay element category group contains a number of related pay element categories grouped together. For example, under a pay element category group called ‘Remuneration’ you might group together pay element categories for salary, bonus, profit-related pay and allowances. These in turn would contain pay elements relating to their particular type.

Before creating a pay element category group you must have already created the necessary pay element categories.

Enter the ID of the pay element category group for which you want to maintain pay element categories, or select one by clicking WINDOW to display Pay Element Category Groups.

If the pay element category group does not exist, a prompt is displayed allowing you to create the new group.

Category

Enter the ID of the pay element category that you want to include in the selected pay element group, or select one by clicking window to display Select Pay Element Category.

The description of the pay element category.

Detail

Displays Y if a pay element category contains pay elements. Click WINDOW to display Select Pay Element Category Elements, where you can view the pay elements contained in the pay element category.
