Enables you to update selected posts with default employment check details by uploading a CSV file. You can upload the CSV file without updating the database to validate the file first, if required.

The CSV file must be structured as follows:

1 POST_ID

Post to which the following details apply.

Must be a valid post ID.

2 START_DATE

Start date.

Must be a valid date in the format DD/MM/YYYY.

3 CHK_TYPE

Employment check type.

Must be a valid employment check type.

4 CHK_LEVEL

Employment check level.

Must exist in the CHKLVL narrative category.

5 RENEWAL_DATE

Renewal date.

Must be a valid date in the format DD/MM.

6 RENEWAL_FREQ_TYPE

Renewal frequency type.

Must exist in the RENTYP narrative category.

7 RENEWAL_FREQ_PERIOD

Renewal frequency period.

Used in conjunction with above field. Must be 2 numeric digits.

8 REGISTRATION_REQUIRED_FLAG

Employment registration required.

Must be Y or N.

9 AUTHORISATION_FLAG

Authorisation required.

Must be Y or N.

10 NUMBER_OF_REGS

Number of registration numbers.

Must be blank, 1 or 2.

11 POST_CHK_BAR_FLAG

BAR check required.

Must be Y or N.

12 POST_CHK_BARRED_CHECK

Type of barred list.

Must exist in the BARCHK narrative category.

It is recommended that you use a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft® Excel to create the CSV files. Enter each field entry in a new column, leaving the column blank if the field is not required.

Path on Server?

Select this check box if the CSV file is on the server. If you leave this check box blank, a file upload window is displayed when you click CONTINUE where you can select the file to upload.

If you select this check box, the following field is displayed where you can select the server based file to upload:

Spreadsheet Name

Click window to display Select File where you can browse for the CSV file that you want to upload.

Spreadsheet Path

Display only. The path of the selected CSV file.

Report Only

Enter Y to validate the file without updating the database and generate a report detailing the number of records validated, total successes and total errors.

Click CONTINUE to load the CSV file containing employment check details, and update the database or validate the file as indicated.
