Post Employment Checks
Enables you to associate employment checks with a post. Employment checks are defined in Maintain Employment Checks.
Note: This screen is automatically populated when you perform a spreadsheet load for the selected post.
When the post is added to an employee, the employment checks are automatically attached to the employee. Similarly, when the post is added to a vacancy, the employment checks are automatically attached to applicants when they apply for a vacancy and employees when they are transferred to the HR module.
To access this window, enter fast path HRPOST and select Post Employment Check from the navigation panel.
General
Start Date
Enter the start date of the new or existing employment checks, or select an existing one from the drop-down list.
Click SEARCH to display the employment checks associated with the post for the selected date.
Paging Area
Type
Enter the type of employment check that you want to associate with the selected post, or select one from the drop-down list.
Level
Enter the level of the employment check required, or select one from the drop-down list.
Reg
Display only. Indicates whether registration is required for this employment check.
Auth
Display only. Indicates whether authorisation is required for this post's employment check.
Type
Display only. The type of renewal frequency for the employment check, for example, Y is x number of years.
Desc
Display only. The description of the renewal frequency.
Freq
Display only. The renewal frequency period associated with this employment check. This field is used in conjunction with the Type field, for example, if this field is set to 02, and the Type field is set to Y, this check must be renewed every two years.
Refs
Display only. The number of registration numbers required for this employment check.
BAR Req
Select this check box if the employment check for this post also requires an BAR check.
Barred Check
Enter the type of barred list to which the check applies, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the BARCHK narrative category.
