Enables you to create a new application for employment by linking an applicant to a vacancy, and change the status currently assigned to an existing application.

Note: When you use the employee version of this screen to create an employment application for an internal applicant, the system automatically allocates the next available applicant number to the employee. All vacancy screens allow input and display of both the employee and applicant numbers for applicants who are also employees.

Paging Area

Vacancy

Enter the code of the vacancy for which the applicant is applying, or select one by clicking Window to display Vacancy Selection.

Note: If the selected vacancy has employment checks associated, Employment Checks is displayed listing the associated checks. These checks are then included in Individual Employment Checks against the applicant.

Note: If the selected vacancy has Background Checking check groups associated, Background Checking View Check Groups is displayed listing the associated check groups. You can delete check groups if required. The remaining check groups are then included in Background Checking Maintain Check Requests against the applicant.

Date

Enter the date on which the application was made.

Source

Click window to display Vacancy Source Details, where you can maintain multiple vacancy sources.

Status

Click Window to display Status Update, where you can assign new applications an initial status, or change the status assigned to existing applications.

A

Enter Y if the applicant has previously applied for a position with your organisation.

R

Display only. Indicates if this application has been rejected. An application is rejected by assigning it a status that amounts to rejection, using the Status field.

Current

Display only. The current application status, which is the status with the highest priority that has been assigned to the application. The current status can be changed using the Status field.

App Docs

This field is only enabled if Doc Storage is licensed. Click Window to display Web Portal Doc Storage, where you can view and upload documents against the application in Doc Storage. Documents that have originated from Web Recruitment for this application are included.

Feedback

Click WINDOW to display Application Manager Feedback, where you can view any completed feedback forms for this vacancy and create a PDF of a completed form, if required.

Notes

Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.

Click Expand to display the following fields:

Reject Reason

Select the reason for an application being rejected from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the REJREA narrative category.

Withdraw Reason

Select the reason for an application being withdrawn from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the APWTRN narrative category.

Vacancy Description

Display only. The full description of the vacancy for which the applicant is applying.

Rejection Reason

Display only. The full description of the reason for an applicant being rejected, if applicable.

Withdrawn Reason

Display only. The full description of the reason for the withdrawal of the application, if applicable.

Current Status

Display only. The full description of the status with the highest priority that has been assigned to the application.

Agency

Display only. The ID and name of the agency responsible for the vacancy, if applicable.

View eForm

Click window to display the eForm attached to the application in the web browser.
