Displays all the documents stored against the selected object, and provides links on the left-hand side of the screen.

Note: Doc Storage must be licensed in order that you can access this screen. Doc Storage must also be configured prior to uploading documents.

Uploaded documents are displayed in the section appropriate to their categorisation, with a heading that corresponds to the selected narrative code’s long description. The narrative codes available to categorise documents are set up in the narrative category specified in Doc Storage Categories. Each category is listed alphabetically and the documents within each category are sorted based on the Document Storage Parameters defined in System Control.

Note: The settings against your security profile determine which categories you can view and upload documents against.

Images

You can upload images for use in Web Recruitment / Agency Access if required. You should upload images via this task if they are intended for the homepage or for all vacancies in Web Recruitment or Agency Access. For specific vacancies, images must be uploaded into Doc Storage against the required vacancy via Vacancy Details and the vacancy must be re-exported. You can only upload images with the following file types: .jpg .gif and .bmp.

Note: Images are displayed on a page in alphabetical order, therefore you can control the order by naming the images appropriately.

Once an image is uploaded, you must assign the appropriate category to indicate where the image should be displayed. For example, if the image is required on the Web Recruitment homepage, you should assign the category that you specified in the Homepage Images field in Recruitment Attachments. The image is then located according to the Above / Below settings specified.

You can define a tool tip for an image by specifying the required text in the Comments field. This text is displayed when you hover above the image in Web Recruitment or Agency Access.

Note: When a vacancy is deleted, any associated images are also deleted. However, images uploaded via this screen are not affected and must be deleted here if required.

Search box

Enter a search string to search all the categories to which you have access. Once three characters of a search string are entered, ResourceLink will display any matching search results in the Documents panel. ResourceLink will check the search string against both the file name and the comments recorded against each file. The search results will display most relevant files first, those whose file name matches and whose uploaded date is more recent, followed by files where the comments match and the upload date is most recent.
