Doc Storage enables documents to be uploaded and stored against an object in the database.

Before using Doc Storage, you must configure the following:

  1. Ensure Doc Storage is licensed.
  2. Enable the Doc Storage functionality by setting the MISC > DOCLINK > DBSTORE system parameter to Y.
  3. Specify the URL of the server where you want to store your uploaded documents via Doc Storage Configuration.
  4. Define the storage limits applicable to the server where the uploaded documents are stored via Doc Storage Parameters.
  5. If you use Web Recruitment, define the file attachment limits and document categorisations applicable when attaching files and images in Web Recruitment via Recruitment Attachments.
  6. If you use Agency Access, define the file attachment limits and document categorisations applicable when attaching files and images in Agency Access via Agency Access Attachments.
  7. Configure the security profile to determine the access permissions available to an operator with the selected security profile via MyView Access.
