Enables you to associate employment checks with an employee, an applicant or an external person. Employment checks are defined in Maintain Employment Checks.

Note: You can only access employment check details for the employment check types and levels that have been specified against your security profile.

Note: If an employee has been attached to a post which has employment checks associated, or if an applicant has been attached to a vacancy which has employment checks associated, the relevant checks are displayed in this screen.

Selection

Enter selection criteria in any of the following fields and click SEARCH to display the matching employment checks in the paging area.

Check Type

Enter the type of employment checks you want to display, or select one from the drop-down list.

Start Date

Enter the start date of the required employment checks, or select one from the drop-down list.

Paging Area

Start Date

Enter the start date of the new employment check that you want to record.

Type

Enter the type of employment check that you want to associate with the selected individual, or select one from the drop-down list. The options available are the employment checks you created in Maintain Employment Checks.

Note: You can enter details for a combined DBS and BAR check by selecting a DBS check type. When you enter the additional details for the DBS check via Employment Check Details, select the BAR Check check box to display all the fields required for both the DBS and BAR checks.

Level

Enter the level of the employment check required, or select one from the drop-down list.

Clearance

Enter the date when the individual received clearance for the this employment check.

Reg

Display only. Indicates whether registration is required for this employment check.

Status

Click window to display Employee Employment Check Status, where you can maintain the status of the employment check.

Details

Click window to display Employment Check Details, where you can record additional details for the employment check.

Notes

Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.

Additional

Click expand to display the following fields if applicable to the employment check:

Renewal Date

Display only. The next renewal date for this employment check, if specified in Employment Check Details.

Authorised by

Click window to display Authorised Employees, where you can select the ID of the employee who has authorised the individual, if applicable.

Note: Employees cannot be selected as authorisers if they are a leaver and the period since they left employment exceeds the number of days specified in the Authoriser Leaver Days Allowed field in Employment Checks.

Reference Numbers

Enter the registration numbers that this individual holds, if applicable. You can enter up to two registration numbers.

Registration Body

Display only. The registration body that governs the selected employment check, if applicable.

Type

Display only. The type of check if applicable.
