Vacancy Applicant Status Update
Enables you to update the current status of multiple applicants in a single operation. For example, you may want to use this to reject in bulk all unsuccessful applicants for a vacancy.
Each line in the paging area of the screen shows one applicant who has applied for the vacancy. You can change the sort order of any field in the paging area by clicking the required column heading. In the Tag column you can flag those applicants to whom you want to assign a common status.
All statuses have a priority associated with them, to indicate the order in which they should be assigned to applications. For example, a status that is assigned to a new application, such as ‘Application Form Received’, has a low priority, e.g. 100. Later statuses, such as ‘Interview Arranged’, have a medium priority, e.g. 400. Statuses assigned to applications towards the end of their life cycle, such as ‘Awaiting Transfer to HR System’, have a high status, e.g. 900.
