Disciplinary Record Parameters
Enables you to set up and maintain parameters for the actions that can be taken within your disciplinary procedure. The parameters you can set are the default review period and deletion period. The system uses these to calculate a default review date and end date when you add a record to an employee's disciplinary history.
General
Type
Enter the code of the disciplinary type, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the DSCTYP narrative category.
Level
Enter the disciplinary warning level if the disciplinary action is administered in stages of increasing seriousness, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the DSCWRN narrative category.
Review Type
Enter Y, M, W or D to indicate the type of review period for the disciplinary action.
Review Period
Enter a number specifying the period between disciplinary reviews. This field is used in conjunction with the Review Type field. For example, if you enter M in the Review Type field, and 2 in the Review Period field, it means that the disciplinary action should be reviewed every two months.
Removal Type
Enter Y, M, W or D to indicate the type of deletion period for the disciplinary action.
Removal Period
Enter a number specifying the period before you delete the disciplinary action. This field is used in conjunction with the Delete Type field. For example, if you enter Y in the Delete Type field, and 1 in the Delete Period field, it means that you should delete the disciplinary action from the employee’s record after one year.

Click window to display Maintain Note Detail, where you can enter any notes or comments you want to record.

Click window to display Disciplinary eForm where you can attach an eForm to be used in the disciplinary process.
Additional
Click EXPAND to display a description of the disciplinary type and warning level.
