To access this window, enter fast path HREMPALL and select Passport/Visa from the navigation panel.

Passport Details

Passport No

Enter the individual's passport number.

Expiry Date

Enter the date on which the individual's passport expires.

Country of Issue

Enter the country code of the country which issued the passport, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the ADCTRY narrative category.

Nationality/Citizenship

Enter a nationality or citizenship code or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the NATCIT narrative category (unless an equivalent HESA category has been defined).

This field is only displayed for the UK legislation type.

Nationality/Citizenship 2

Enter a second nationality or citizenship code or select one from the drop-down list to record dual nationalities. The options are set up in the NATCIT narrative category (unless an equivalent HESA category has been defined).

This field is only enabled if the Nationality/Citizenship field contains a value. The value in this field will also be reflected on the Equal Opportunities screen.

Date Verified

Enter the date on which the passport was verified.

Visa Details

Visa No

Enter the individual's visa number.

Country of Issue

Enter the country code of the country which issued the visa, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the ADCTRY narrative category.

Date of Issue

Enter the date on which the individual's visa was issued.

Expiry Date

Enter the date on which the individual's visa expires.

Tier

Enter a code for the tier under which the individual's visa was issued, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the MIGTIE narrative category.

Category

Enter a code for the category under which the individual's visa was issued, or select one from the drop-down list. The options are set up in the MIGCAT narrative category.

Visa Restrictions

Enter a code for the restrictions associated with the visa, or select one from the drop-down list. This field is mandatory if the visa tier Tier4 has been selected as there are restrictions to the number of hours an individual on a Tier 4 Student visa can work per week. The options are set up in the VISRES narrative category.

Date Verified

Enter the date on which the visa was verified.

This field is only displayed for the UK legislation type.

UK Entry Date

Enter the date on which the individual entered the UK. This field is mandatory for Tier 2 and Tier 5. In most cases, you can check a migrant’s date of entry by looking for an entry stamp, in the form of a wet ink stamp, from an immigration officer. This will normally be endorsed on the migrant’s visa

Note: With Visa Date Verified set, if any visa-related fields change, it will be blanked out. This makes sure visa rechecks are carried out following changes.

Certificate of Sponsorship Details

CoS No.

Enter the certificate of sponsorship number.

Date of Issue

Enter the date on which the certificate of sponsorship was issued.

Expiry Date

Enter the date on which the certificate of sponsorship expires. This must be three months after the Date of Issue.
