Enter the date the parameters become effective or select one from the drop-down list.

Flexible

Select this check box to indicate these parameters relate to flexible furlough.

Note: Any parameters created for 1st July 2020 onwards must be flagged as Flexible, even if employees are being furloughed for all of their normal hours. This is to ensure the correct calculations are made for furlough pay and additional costs, especially for pay periods spanning 2 months

Ers %age

Enter the employer’s percentage of contribution towards furlough pay e.g. for September 2020 this would be 10%.

Varied Hours P.E. Category

Enter or select the pay element category to hold pay elements used to identify hours when calculating normal hours for varied employees in the Hours Extract.

Holiday Hours P.E. Category

Enter or select the pay element category to hold the pay elements used to calculate the notional furlough holiday amount for varied employees. This has no impact on employees’ pay. However, the value calculated is use in the claim to HMRC.

LM Absence Types List

This field only applies to varied-type employees.

Enter or select any Leave Management absence types that need to be included in the calculation of normal hours. Parental leave types included will reduce the Days Worked amount on the Hours Extract.

Include UK Holiday?

This field only applies to varied-type employees.

Select this check box to indicate the use of UK Holiday, which will be included in the calculation of normal hours.

Include UK Sickness?

This field only applies to varied-type employees.

Select this check box to indicate the use of UK Sickness, which will be included in the calculation of normal hours.

Suppress NI Claim?

Select this check box to indicate the NI element should not be included on the HMRC Furlough Claim e.g. from August 2020.

Suppress Pension Claim Flag?

Select this check box to indicate the pension element should not be included on the HMRC Furlough Claim e.g. from August 2020.
