Enables you to attach additional absence certification fields to an absence type, which are then available in Post Absence General Details when entering absence details.

General

The following fields can be attached to the selected absence type if required:

• Cert Type - for recording the certificate type.
• Auth Cert Produced - for recording whether an authorised certificate has been produced.
• Certificate Expiry - for recording the expiry date of the certificate.

Against each of these fields you can configure the following settings:

Visible

Select this check box to indicate that the corresponding field should be attached to this absence type. This field will then be visible in Post Absence General Details.

Mandatory

Select this check box to indicate that the corresponding field is mandatory, and must be completed in Post Absence General Details.

Narrative Category

This only applies to the Cert Type field. Enter the ID of the narrative category that will be available for selection in the corresponding field, or select one by clicking window to display Narrative Category Selection.

Field Help

Enter the field help that should be displayed for the corresponding field.
