Enables you to enter the absence type and the entitlement year for which you want to create an entitlement line, and indicate the posts to which these entitlement details apply.

Selection

Enter selection criteria in any of the following fields and click Search to display the matching entitlement details in the paging area.

Emp Start Date

Display only. The date on which the employee started their employment.

Assoc

This check box is only displayed if the Display Absence Type Indicator field in Leave Management System Parameters is set to 3. Select this check box to only display absence types that are associated with the employee's service conditions in the following field:

Absence Type

Select the absence type from the drop-down list for which you want to create an entitlement line.

Entl Start Year

Enter the year for which you want to create an entitlement line. This cannot be a year for which an entitlement line already exists.

Paging Area

Post

Display only. The employee's post.

Post Start

Display only. The date on which the employee started in the selected post.

Post End

Display only. The date on which the employee is due to finish in the selected post, if applicable.

Entl Start

Display only. The date on which the entitlement year starts.

Entl End

Display only. The date on which the entitlement year ends.

Tag

Select the posts against which you want to record the absence period. All posts are selected by default, enter N to de-select a post.

Entl Type

Displays Annual, Actual or Accrual to indicate the entitlement type.

Entl Unit

Displays H or D to indicate whether the entitlement unit type is hourly or daily.

Click CONTINUE to create the entitlement lines, and redisplay Employee Absence Entitlement.
