C/Fwd %

C/Fwd Cap

Enter the maximum number of entitlement days or hours, as defined by your entitlement unit type, that can be carried forward for an employee at the end of an entitlement year. If C/Fwd % Type is set to B and a CFwd % is set, the cap will be automatically calculated but this value can be overwritten.

C/Fwd Use By

No of Pers

Per Type

Enter D, W or M to indicate whether the period type is days, weeks or months.

MCCFwdE

Enter Y if the Mid Cycle Carried Forward Entitlement functionality applies to this entitlement type for the applicable effective date.

Note: If the MCCFwdE flag is changed for a parameter set without the use of a new Effective Date then all existing entitlement records should be recalculated and any absences in those periods should be undone and re-processed (it is recommended that absences are undone before recalculating the entitlement followed by reprocessing the absences). A message reminding the user of this procedure will appear at the time the flag is changed. If there are post and/or service condition changes within the entitlement year, the recommendations are to delete the entitlement, undo absences (full undo) and then recreate the entitlement as otherwise the order in which the entitlement C\Fwd is recalculated may impact the entitlement value on the report.

Note: If the MCCFwdE flag is switched off for a future Effective Date having previously been switched on, then the Mid-Cycle C/Fwd entitlement will be transferred back into base C/Fwd entitlement on the new entitlement record. A warning message will be displayed at the time the new entitlement record is created.
