Parental Leave in Touch Days
Enables you to record Keep In Touch (KIT) and Shared Parental Leave In Touch (SPLIT) days for the employee on parental leave.
To access this window, enter fast path HR195S4, window in to the Details field and select In Touch Days.
General
Due Date
Display only. The expected due date.
Maximum KIT Days
Display only. The maximum number of KIT days as specified in Maintain SPLP Parameters. If the number of KIT days entered exceeds the limit specified, a warning is displayed indicating that the maximum paid KIT days has been exceeded.
Maximum SPLIT Days
Display only. The maximum number of SPLIT days as specified in Maintain SPLP Parameters. If the number of SPLIT days entered exceeds the limit specified, a warning is displayed indicating that the maximum paid SPLIT days has been exceeded.
Paging Area
Date
Enter the date of the In Touch day.
Type
Enter the Type of In Touch day. Must be either KIT or SPLIT.
Amount
Enter the amount to be paid for the In Touch day. This amount will be summed with any statutory and occupational amounts to give the final payment amount.
Note: The amount entered is used for APP purposes only and does not affect the employee's actual pay; therefore a manual adjustment is necessary to pay the KIT day and ensure Cumulative Pensionable Pay (CPP) is correct.
Statutory
Display only. Displays the calculated Statutory amount to be paid for the In Touch day.
Occupational
Display only. Displays the calculated Occupational amount to be paid for the In Touch day.
Offset
Enter an amount to be used as an offset amount that will be deducted from the final amount calculation. Defaults to the total of the Statutory and Occupational amounts.
Paid
Display only. Indicates Y if the day has been paid.
